Default Tunerstudio autotune without wideband?

Quick question, and probably a dumb one too:

I just bought TunerStudio after using MegaTune and loading the base map that came with the MSPNP. It's been running on this base map pretty well for a year. The car is not turbo'd yet.

I have a wideband but have not hooked it up yet. Would it be wise to run the autotune with just my narrowband installed? The engine is completely stock, save for the MSPNP.

I'm pretty sure you need the wideband, or at least it's a good idea to have it.

I'm thinking the afr ratios it gives won't be as accurate as with a wideband. The thing is.. HOW inaccurate would they be.. And would it just make it worse than what the base tune is.

I tried it and it just fucked up my fuel map beyond belief. Would not recommend.

Unless your entire map is targeted at or around 14.7 don't try it. Get the wideband set up.

if you already have a wideband, what in the world is stopping you from installing it and tuning like a madman? tuning with a narrowband is crazy

I know I should hook up the wideband but I got excited about this auto tune feature and wanted to give it a shot. I'll wait. Ho hum :(
