tunerstudio issues

i bought a netbook and transferred my maps etc from other laptop. downloaded ts and mlv but the ts says its offline. i tried to detect to check the com port but nothing. what am i missing or doing wrong?

windows 7, its a serial to usb cable they sell on the site.

all i did was dl the package from the megasquirt website. so probably not. i installed java jre but wasnt sure what else i needed.

youll need to first have your CPU recognize your serial convertor and assign it a com port before you'll ever be able to connect to TS.

ok, i forgot about that driver needed for the cable. i just unplug it from ecu and let it autorun right? ill try this in a few minutes
