Default Tunerstudio randomly burning / not burning

Currently using a Reverant built MS

When in Tunerstudio 2.0.6, sometimes when I open a new window, such as the ignition table, boost control settings, etc, I will get a random burn, with the check engine light on the dash will light up letting me know a burn happened.

Other times I will open it, make changes, click burn and then.. nothing.

sometimes it will burn when I close the window. Other times I have to close it, re-open it and then it might make the burn button work again.

Any suggestions?

nope, still doing it, this time when I open the AFR table now too, it will just burn itself with every change.

also,2.0.6 refuses to see that there is an update to 2.0.8

Same here, click check for update and it says that 2.0.6 is the latest. Suggestions?

Download the new version from Tunerstudio's website and run the executable. All your data should remain as it is. Make back ups just in case.

Use the latest beta 2.3.xx. Some older versions had problems with burning every time a window was closed.
The beta will not install over the release version. The two will appear as separate program entries. Similarly, the release version will not auto update to a beta.

It just started to do it again last night.

I thought it was good, but it is back to the point that if you open the VE or timing table it will burn (and the car will buck when doing so) when you open and close the table, and the burn to ECU button does nothing when the table that is opened does so

Man, this is great. I'm so glad he sent you the Kraken kit! What a nice guy. Even at MSRP that kit is a ******* steal. I have their side mount kit and absolutely love it, stoked to see what you do with it.

Did you tune timing on a dyno, Andy? I've got the same low mount Kraken manifold and I'm amazed at how much timing I get away with on my stock engine (10:1 pistons, 15psi max, 91 octane).

I love the 22psi tune is your 'low boost' map
