Fergus,I can't believe what I just read,the Admin & mods at CR.net are a ******* joke!

They basically let the sponsors do whatever the **** they want, either it be rip people off or provide shitty service, but when the time comes and people complain, they won't take action and say it's not their problem on what the sponsors do,but that ******* Admin is more than willing to take their money.

......check out my new sig,I will be changing my other sig on M.net too, everyone should do the same just to get the word out on CR.net.

**** THEM!!!!!!!

Yeah as soon as somebody posts up something about how one of the CR.net 'sponsers' robbed them it gets locked or possibly deleted.
They attack you straight away and pat the scum bag on the back.
+1 on the sig.

Nothing new or exclusive to CR.net. Just ask Braineack or newbsauce how our comments on AA Motorsports after our "dyno day" were received on VADriven.

no ****.

three threads have been posted about that shop in the last couple of weeks. all customers that had valid complaint. with the threads brought a handful of others with bad experiences....however, since AA pays $20 a month, they simply delete the posts...however, it's still pulling up in google cache, and we are taking screenshots. http://209.85.215.104/search?q=cache...ient=firefox-a

it's really funny, one car we called them out about has been sitting since last Aug '07 for a 6-sp swap. they gave it back to him with a blown motor. we called them out on the arp studs rusting outside on the wiper cowl. One of the employees takes pistuces of new hardware that has been installed (probably the only work done in the last year). You could clearly see the cylinder walls have rusted out. When we mentioned that, they deleted the image. then the thread vanished.

I have just been told that Racing Lifestyle is over on CR.net stating that this dispute is resolved.
I have no way to confirm if he has posted this on CR.net as I am never logging into CR.net again.
I will say here, as I have said on the forum in the UK, I have had NO contact from Racing Lifestyle and I have NOT received any refund or parts from him.

The Credit card company has now taken over this issue and have commenced an investigation.
The 'IC3' are also starting an investigation on Racing Lifestyle and I suppose they will also be going to CR.net asking a few questions concerning their accepting funds etc.

For those that do not know what 'IC3' is.....
"The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA)"

The muppet should have just given me my money back, now he's gonna be jailbait.

Dude, you are going through the right actions by contacting your credit card agency, but you are responsible for stirring the **** up on CR by continuously saying that CR is going to be held responsible too. Hate to tell you, US laws will not hold an advertising agency (which would be CR in this case) responsible for someone advertising their company or products through said agency. They will probably contact them for information on Mike, but that will be the extent of it.

Now, don't read into this as me defending CR.net and freak out, I posted a similar post there, I'm just telling you what is probably going to happen regarding the legalities of the situation. I'd be just as pissed off as you are in this case, hell, I got ripped off a long time ago when a seller on eBay took my $650 and ran. I tried the PayPal thing, credit card thing, and even law enforcement, it all came back with a dead end. Unfortunately, I didn't know any better and waited too long to start making claims. Live and learn, right?

Ah yeah man no probs but the ONLY thing with CR.net is that they KEPT receiving funds from this guy and backing him as a sponser when they got reports from other CR users etc that this guy was a dud.
They onlt stopped taking money from him when this got legal, the other times it never got this far.
Look at the posts on CR, read them ALL, see that they 'attack' and then 'censor' the threads while still accepted money from that guy until NOW that is has gone legal.

Like I posted, I did PMs there and they did NADDA. So it appears to me like they CR.net is a part of this scam.

I have now offered to Cr.net to PM/email me directly Tim Allens phone number, lets see what happens next.

I only logged in there to put up the post and wont be going there again unless requested by members of the other miata forums to do so, the same as the last time etc.
It doesn't really matter to me what happens to CR after this, it can crash and burn for all I care. Perhaps this may even make it clean up and be a better site ? Dunno & don't care.
But if it happens again to some other person then CR is already listed. And the next time they start getting multipal reports from people stating they were robbed by a sponser then I'm sure that they will hesitate and THINK about it first rather than go ripping the thread apart and then locking it trying to hush it all up.
Over 10 weeks no flares and no refund but it's somebody else's job to handle that now...

Man that is BS. All I have is his address if you need it (though I'm sure you have it already). I was going to send back this steering wheel and quick release after it taking 3 months to get it but thankfully you bringing it out to the open on CR the few times I've been on made me hesitant. Hopefully you get whats rightfully yours and he'll get whats coming to him

Sorry to hear he had your cash for 3 months without sending you anything man. I wonder how many other peoples cash he has stacked away in his bank account without sending any parts out ? Parhaps he didn't/doesn't even have the parts to send out ?

I would advise ANYONE who had a bad experience/dealings with Racing Lifestyle to file a complaint online with the IC3: http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

If Racing Lifestyle had/has your cash without sending parts file a complaint.
If he gave you a partial refund (i.e less P&P etc) after keeping your cash for ANY amount of time file a complaint.
If it took a LONG TIME for the parts to arrive etc.

Racing Lifestyle Inc (meguina@***.net) has issued you a full refund for your payment.
Original Payment Details - Date Payment Sent: Jul. 4, 2008

It took him over TWO MONTHS to give me my money back.
This issue is NOW CLOSED for me, buy 'they' are still going to go after him.

I would still advise ANYONE who had a bad experience/dealings with Racing Lifestyle to file a complaint online with the IC3, do not let this happen again to somebody else: http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

If Racing Lifestyle had/has your cash without sending parts file a complaint.
If he gave you a partial refund (i.e less P&P etc) after keeping your cash for ANY amount of time file a complaint.
If it took a LONG TIME for the parts to arrive etc file a complaint.

(PS) I still have to check with the CC company to see if the funds are actually there though.....

Glad you finally got your money back, but it should never have taken this long, it took him all of two minutes to send you a refund via pay-pal....stick it to him as hard as you can publicity-wise man (not that you aren't already )

Who cares, I've just order a set of flares (with tracking number & insurance) and will have them by next Thursday !
