FS: '99 BP4W Oil Pump w/ Boundary Gears (Stage 1)
Selling because I'm moving to a VVT head and the higher flow pump.
The housing is Mazda OEM with about 2000 miles on it since I got it last summer. The crank seal was new at the time and is installed slightly shallow to miss the groove left by a seal on an old crank. Cover fasteners have been converted to Torx.
The gears are a couple of years old and saw some rod bearing material shortly after I got them. They didn't seem to mind.
The relief is shimmed about 1/4'' (3 shims). With a loose motor and an unrestricted journal-bearing turbo, it relieved at ~75 psi cold, got 45-50 psi at 220°F cruising, and 35-40 psi at 260+°F on the track (>4000 RPM) using Rotella T6 5W-40. Pressures are measured at the bearings after the filter and a 30 row oil cooler (200°F thermostat).
Asking $200 shipped to CONUS.
