Congrats Lars!
Its always great to hear someone going out on thier own. You make a great product at a great price and your willingness to help even noobs like me throughout my build process is and has been extreamly helpful and appreciated. My MKTurbo setup has been putting a smile on my face every time I hit the skinny pedal on the right!! Thanks and Good Luck!!!

Little late to the party but congrats Larz on starting the company up! Decided i'd drop by and give an update so far on my kit. ITs been over 10k miles since i installed and everything had been running great so far. Only thing i've done was modify the log manifold to add a TIAL EWG other than that everything else is how it came from Larz. I gotta say the manifold is made of some thick tubing and i like it thick . Currently putting down 207whp, 197 wtq at 10psi on a chassis dyno. The little MKturbo isnt making much more above 10psi so im starting to eye ball that .60ar/.48ar CXracing "BB" as a next upgrade after the winter . I'll update again once i get all that squared away!

Yup. I run a dual catch can setup, a closed loop for the pcv side and a vent to atmosphere for the drivers side port.

Got the new turbo in and im a little disappointed. The one i ordered was suppose to be oil cooled only, and also no IWG hole on the exhaust housing but the one i got was not the case. I reached out to them and they basically said what i got is what theyre giving me unless i want to pay for return shipping and take the 20% restocking fee hit.

Just to be clear, you are having a problem with the ebay seller that isn't giving you an item as described, right?

Correct yes. The ebay seller in this case is cxracing. The compressor wheel is actually exactly as they described though i measured it with my handy dandy digital caliper.

I’ve had good success with fighting “not as described” through eBay/PayPal. I’d say 80% of the time I’ve been able to get things reversed, or when the dust settles at least what I originally ordered.

I've done the same with eBay and had success.
Note if the eBay photo doesn't mention anything about "photograph is representative of the item for sale and may not be the exact model" or words to that effect, you can use that in your argument to eBay.

Just make sure you don't write anything that can be construed as threatening or extortion-esque.

If it really is not exactly what you ordered, you can force them to take the return especially if you take pictures of your item vs their pictures and highlight the differences.

I double checked the ad prior to sending them a message and no where could i find a mention of "not actual image" or "generic image" and etc so i think its a pretty strong case if i do go through ebay for a return. I may end up running it but im going to check out some turbonetics turbos first to see if any catch my eye. Heres the specific one i bought https://www.ebay.com/itm/140872210025?ul_noapp=true if someone wants to do a sanity check for me.
