I know NA 1.8s are cheap, about $300 from a junk yard? But then everyone says junk the head for a '99+. That's another $350-$450 for a CORE, then there's at least $200 in machine work to clean, R&R valves, and surface. Plus the time and/or labor costs to pull the 1.6 and put in the 1.8 you've just spent time and/or labor cost to build. Or just suffer the 40ft/lb loss and keep the 1.6. |

Huge thread drift I know, but the reason is it's MUCH cheaper to keep the 1.6.

That's another $450-$550 for a CORE+all plumbing, then there's at least $200 in machine work to clean, R&R valves, and surface. Or just suffer the 40ft/lb loss [at a minimum], 500-1000RPM of slower spool, and keep the 1.6. Not to even mention spending all that extra cheap-jew savings fixing the: slipping clutches, longer stopping distances, donkey dick chassis, and broken diffs. |
At this time I have 3 people signed up. Only 2 more people to go to get an AMAZING deal on a setup.
|
Do it people. Save me $100!
|
Neat kit! I like the simplicity.
Can you do it with a T2 flange, EFR and make it 1.6? No extra cost, please. I'm on a budget. |
Will this fit my civic? It's a 1.8.
|
so I'll be a beta tester. Need to list my stuff for sale tomorrow for funds though. Gonna sell my fm log, 2560, downpipe and enthuza xr. Maybe hopefully get 1500 :/
|
Count me in for a NA kit. I sent you an email last night from my @Jeepthing.net email address.
|

Jesus christ that was the most raw, honest install I have ever seen.
Lars, you should have at least let me edit the video. That shit looked like it was edited on a flip phone. Where is my 1.6, EFR kit? |
