PNP, flow-matched GT500 Injectors
4 Attachment(s)
Hey everyone,
In my quest for a budget DIY turbo build with the awesome, soon to be ready Miata Kitty Turbo kit, I decided I wanted flow matched GT500 Injectors. Since noonew as flow matching them for me, I rolled up my sleeves to do it myself, meaning I'll have a bunch of injectors left over. I also ordered a bunch of bits to make them pnp. I'm having 24 injectors flow tested at full open, idle, and 50%, plus 2 of them tested with a wider battery of tests including dead times. I should have them back in my hot little hands in about 3 weeks. I'll post the flow and deadtime stats for the community. Also, I've got more pnp bits than I do injectors, so if you want to save a couple bucks and don't care about flow matching, find a good deal on the injectors and you get all the pieces to make them pnp from me. Flow matched injectors with pnp kits (I should have them ready to ship in about 3 weeks) - $260 PNP kits, which include the top hat extender, seat cushion and plug adapters (I've got these now) - $75 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1424452009 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1424452009 The awesomeness of these budget-friendly injectors has been much discussed, although the price of the injector has gone up. |

Interested in this. Well, the deadtime info at least. I already have the injectors/hats/clips.
|
Correct diadem info for these injectors would be awesome to have.

Might wanna post the injector size (supposedly 625) for those who don't know.
Although that might be why you're waiting until you get actual flow data. |
Just an FYI to anyone on the fence, buying the parts to build a single set will cost fairly close to that. And they won't be flow matched.
And you get pink ones  |

Also, I've seen these listed as 627cc @ 3bar, so flow data will be our friend.

Sounds fair. I was in talks with FiveO as well, but they didn't have anything other than black. As far as the clips go, I'll be going with the shorter hard plastic ones

The short, solid clips didn't work for my motor. '96 BP, stock fuel rail. They were too long and the harness connector hit the block.

Did you find some short hard clips that work? I think shuiend tried some that didn't work, and I couldn't find any I was happy with. Let me know that you find, and if they work for you.

I believe those were the ones I was going to grab. I didn't see Las had a problem.

Lars had a problem with the short, solid pigtail adapters. Maybe you're getting the two confused.
