I placed an order on the website and have yet to hear back. Just curious if anyone has gotten these installed yet and how do you like them? I am looking forward to the upgrade!

Installed mine a few months ago, have two events on them with no issues or drama. They’re hubs, they work. I enjoy not worrying about them blowing apart at high speed and sending me into the wall.

I also placed an order on the site. I heard Sean was busy buying a new place and/or moving. Hope to hear back too.

Gotcha, well I look forward to hearing from him and getting the hubs. I’m getting nervous every track day as I’m still on stock hubs for now haha

It's been a long time since i received these hubs. I am having a senior moment and forgot what it the process of the install is.
1. Pull the old hub and remove C clip from knuckle.
2. Remove old bearing
3. Install new bearing and c clip
4. Insert new hub until it's flush

anything else i am forgetting. The bearing has seals on the back and nothing else is needed, correct ?

seal goes in before the bearing, don't forget it, is a PITA to push bearing back out due to forgetting seal

Huh? The seal goes in the upright last.

Sorry, meant c-clip, not seal. Forgot to put it on before I pressed in the hub the first time. Had to press back out and it split the bearing races and made a big mess.

The C clip is on the front face of the bearing before the HUB.. when you say you "last", you meant before the hub gets pressed into the upright?

I've been busy. If you submitted an order on the order form, then I have it. There's only a few waiting for hubs, so I should be able to clear that out relatively quickly.

*** the dust shield

-remove seal
-remove oem hub
-remove snap ring
-remove bearing

-replace bearing, press on outer race only
-re-install snap ring
-press hub into bearing, support bearing inner race
-replace seal

Make sure the thin(1mm) washer that is glued on the back of the MR2 hub is present when installing and that it didn't fall off in shipping or handling, as well as the thicker aluminum washer that is lightly pressed into the "outer" bore that the axle nut seats against.

Good to hear! LMK If you need more details on the options in my order.

... you might want to change your location to show you are no longer at your mom's house. :-P

Hubs were easy to install, are super beefy, and work great! Bump for a great product.

I did not have a very powerful MX5 at the time, nor did it have much mileage on it so didn't require them, but now I do have a high power, high mileage car so I want in.

I sent through an enquiry about these hubs (along for some other parts) 4 weeks ago and have followed up with an email with no response.
Is Sean still around?

I'm very patient as I only have 1 more sprint event this year at the end of October, and won't need anything installed in the car until the new season starts in March next year. SO I will have 4 months.
Will be doing the diff centre, mounts, diff bracing etc so may as well do the hubs, studs and bearings at the same time.

An update would be nice though, so I don't go down other avenues.
