I got confused since it came in the USPS box but was shipped UPS.

 

Yeah that was the original USPS box that you shipped them in. But I shipped them through UPS for the well known reason.

 

I had this feeling it would be there. Please get them out tomorrow i am starting my drinking early tonight. Its weird how in this age we can not transport efficiently without suspecting and charging out the ***. I am in the transportation industry myself it sucks. Thanks for making this happen guys your hard work is really appreciated.
Now to the harder part. Getting this beauty up and running.

I would just like to know what the timeframe would be, that would help me out lots.

 

I can ship the expansion board on Monday, but I really have no idea how long it will take to get to Braineack. I wouldn't expect anything less than 2-3 weeks, given that the xmas is just around the corner, and we are in fact talking about snail mail. So a reasonable timeframe would be Jan 10-15th or so.

I'm going to run an older style FMII turbo kit with the extra injectors mounted on the intake and a Link ECU. ('99 1.8 NB, Garrett GT2545r)

Could someone tell me if a MS (in theory) will get me a better tune? I want a stable and smooth DD, not a track shredder.

The MS has some nice functions like LaunchControl, TractionControl and adjustable rev limiter, but I'm more fan of a nice and stable tune.

And yes, I know you guys are not accepting any orders at the time, but I'll be building my car around March so maybe there's gonna be a new groupbuy by then.

 

I've never tuned a Link, but I will replace a Link off a turbo 2004 this week. That tells me the owner was not very happy with it.

It all depends on Scott right now. I can do single units for the normal price but do expect a lead time of at least two weeks (shipping back and forth in time is a bitch).
