I did not know this MS-II completely replaces the stock ECU. That is very interesting.

Your way actually sounds simpler. if you have a picture of one mounted/hooked up on an NB that would be FANTASTIC.
It is this one:

Yes, it is now possible thanks to the expansion board that handles the alternator, A/C, power steering idle up, etc.

So that has exactly the 3 wires the MAP sensor needs to operate?

How come none of us Adaptronic users knew about this? LOL I feel foolish now splicing into the other harness when it could have been done so much easier

(unless the Adaptronic requires specifically the location we are using which is possible)

Its good to see a good PNP solution for the NBs. Is it possible to add VICS support to the 99-00 version?

Hi Dimitris, it's guitarjon from mx5nutz.

Just a couple more questions before I am a definate.

Are you able to do this same package for a mk1 1.6 with a basic Jackson racing m45 set up?

Where do I buy a wb02 from and what is it's purpose (I'm new to fi and management)

Can you give a total price of the item shipped to the uk?

Thanks

Yes, since its a MAP sensor, it has exactly the three wires needed to operate. So far I've installed it on two cars that require more than 21psi of boost (one using a GM 3bar sensor and one using a MapDaddy).

Yes, I can do that same package for a Mk1. What year is your car and do you have A/C?

You need a wideband oxygen sensor/controller to accurately read the air/fuel ratio (AFR), which is the most important aspect of tuning. You get the LC-1 from here with free next day shipping delivery to the UK in 2-3 days: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Innovate-LC-1-...es_CarParts_SM

Shipping to the UK is 31 euro (25 quid) but if you and Craigo both decide to go ahead, then I can send them in a single package and almost cut the cost in half.

Okay well I'm now sold on this so can you add me to the list?
Craigo - UKDM 1998 1.8NB (99-00 MS2 ENGLAND)

I wanted MS-2 eventually but with all the enhancements and the fact it's PnP has me sold. Even better that we can get good shipping rates to the UK too. Thanks Reverent and Braineack for sorting this out.

p.s. I'm going to pull the top off my intake to confirm it has VICS or not.

Let me make sure I understand this.

Take ecu out, put 99 MS pnp in, turn key start. (I know its not that simple but...)

No having to retrofit CAS, or NA alternator. No having to splice any wires, etc.

Hum...

Sorry about that forgot to say. The car does have powersteering. It also has aircon but I will be taking this out next weekend, so no it does not have aircon although the button will still be there.

Exactly that, you only have to add a vaccum line to the MS. Completely plug and play.

Ok, your unit will still have the A/C functionality in case you decide not remove it or you decide at any point to restore it.
