Default megasquirt and aem

Hello all. I megasquirted my miata today, Woohooo for tunerstudio haha. I uploaded the basemap onto the controller and everything seems to be running well. Timing has been verified at 10 and after a few pulls using autotune the car feels very smooth. My only issue is no matter what I have tried my wideband wont communicate with the ecu. It was and is wired into my wiring harness and was sending a simulated narrowband to the stock ecu as per the "p04" setting. I tried to continue the narrowband signal to the ecu with no luck. I also tried to switch the aem to p00 and then calibrated it in as a custom linear wideband. neither option allowed the wideband to communicate with the ecu. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Id really like to keep the wiring setup i have if that is a possibility as well. Thank you. the Ecu is a MSPNP2 v1.2 and the wideband is an AEM 30-4100.

Also, I know p00 and p01 both send a linear signal but am not sure whether just switching modes on the wideband will solve my problem. Thanks again.

Verify the wire color you used from the wideband? On an AEM wideband this should be white. Next use a multimeter to see what the voltage you are getting via this white wire is like. Anything above 0V should be showing some sort of value in TunerStudio above 10:1. If both of these check out, that should prove it to be a software/calibration issue.

I definitely used the white wire, i will check with a multimeter when i get off of work. I tried several different afr calibration methods on ts and none gave me anything the ecu could read.
