When the miata gets to about 3000-3500rpms its goes rich and sputters. Ive tried what I understood to be the settings to change, the ve fuel but it never seems to make a change. Am I missing something? I do have a datalog of whats going on if someone could tell me how to get it on here.

Would it be a good idea to borrow a map from someone with a similar setup for a little bit just to get the car to a tuner?
