Default Tunerstudio not recognizing WB signal

Just got a MSPNP installed on a 97, trying to use a MTX-L but TS is either not calibrated or recognizing the signal. The gauge on TS will change if I un-plug the o2 sensor, but when it is plugged in the gauge in TS reads 14.6 regardless of what the actual is doing.

I understand the gauge needs to be calibrated in TS, but I'm not seeing where- I've got everything set to Wideband, but I'm not finding the screen where to set the specific device (MTX-L).

I found these instructions, but I don't get the options list in TS to select specific WB sensors. Did I screw up setting up the project? or am I just not looking in the right menu?

In the main tunerstudio page mine has: "tools" > "calibrate AFR table" > "ego sensor" and it will allow you to pick your wideband or manually calibrate the sensor.

The sensor calibrations exist under the Tools menu. So in the case Tools > Calibrate AFR

And be sure you wired the MTX-L analog output #1 (yellow wire), not AO #2 (brown wire) to the ECU. And you've checked your ground.

Set to factory defaults, AO #1 is for wideband output and AO #2 simulates narrow band output.
