Wow really? That kind of sucks, I need a new helmet for 2015 but I don't want to get SA2010 as it's already halfway through its life...

It is a PITA, Especially for us! we stock it all, and once every 5 years we liquidate our helmet inventory.

Personally (Johnny C) - As a consumer I buy the helmets right before the next rating comes out. generally you can save 10-20% off retail and i'll replace it after 5 years anyway. They do tend to get quite ragged out after about 4 years of service. I couldn't imagine a 10 year old helmet not having a decent funk to it.
