Then you take it to a 1 day test and tune event that isn't $300. I'm doing that in December with a group here. HPDE, 1 day group discount. $150 or so.

If your **** gets hot...then it gets hot...finish it, drive it on the street, beat on it, if it seems OK, take it to the track and test it out.

 

Hustler I understand you want to plan accordingly, but there's a lot gain from first hand experience. Bolt it up, try to do as much as you can now, if it doesn't work out, fix it. if you overheat on the track, turn the heater on, slow down, and lower the boost.

 

$200 is the cheapest to get on the track at MSR, $300 for ECR. They don't have "test and tune" days. I can't afford membership either.
