ok so now at like 10 vac to 5 boost my car makes the worst whirling sound ever. I think it is a boost leak and this is making the turbo work like 239048230942 times as hard and spooling way higher then it should. I can still get to full boost and the sound doesnt really get worse from like 7 vac to 5psi it stays about the same. I wish I could get a recording. So Friday I am going to re-do the ENTIRE JIM KIT with real slyicone and t-bolt's in hopes this will stop the problem. Is there anything else I should look at like gaskets or loose bolts that might be causing this problem? word to the wise **** THIS JIM GUY AND GET A STRIPES KIT **** DAMN. *edit had stripes had his kit out when I started buying parts i would have bought it in a heart beat this ******* bull-**** IC kit is ******* re-cockulous*

$10 says it's your couplers. Crank down on every single one of them, make sure you have no leaks.

 

Solution : Sell the Jim Kit on Miata.net and buy the stripes kit.

 

God know im thinking about it. A place about 4 min from Shop sells T-Bolts for 3.50 each with teflon locking nuts on em and silicone for like 16 a foot. Now replace EVERYTHING on ******* Jim's bullshit or sell that find a crossover for the time and buy a stripes kit.... god how im torn.

 

You could sell jim's kit for around 250 I would guess...maybe 300.

 

yeah also got a pair of Ground Controlls with like 1,000 miles on em that I could sell for 250-300ish if i could sell both have 600 then get some Stripes Kit goin down =P
