You probably dont need the plugs, the wires, or the Tstat for such low boost. They are nice, but probably not needed at 5psi. Later on you can upgrade all this stuff including a front mount, you'll just need piping.

Bipes ACU is good for what you need. As someone mentioned go with the BEGI-S kit, and get their RRFPR. Its not the most sophisticated way to go about this, but its prove and it works when coupled with a bipes.

Oh, a front-mount intercooler. Yup. You can buy a complete FMIC package from Bell for $645, or of course you can DIY. Lots of us here are running chinacoolers purchased from sleezy eBay sellers and cobbled together with bits of pipe. Alternately, you could consider water-injection. At the power level you're looking at from the base kit however, neither are strictly necessary.

It's an electronic device that goes between the cam sensor's CKP (TDC) output and the ECU. When in boost, it delays the CKP pulses by an amount determined by MAP and IAT, thus retarding the ignition. To be truly functional, it requires that you also supply an inexpensive 2 bar MAP sensor.

yea, thats the website i was looking them up on.

I apologize for the broken English, all day i was at work and only got to go outside for a few minutes. I used this time to log onto the site with my sidekick(cellphone) to quickly skim through the thread, this site, and club roadster, is what gets me through the day at work. I load the page, copy all text, save it, then load another. At work, where i have no service, i sit and read at any chance i get, so when i go outside to load some more pages, i try and write as fast as i can on my cellphone to hopefully get a response by my next break.

I read somewhere that the new BEGI kit comes with the Bipes Acu? is this correct? i cant seem to find a part list on the Begi site

The ACU is an option offered by Bell, who recently became a distributor for Dick Bipes. It is not a standard part of any of the kits.

Lol, interest.

Why would you want to tie your money into instruments that provide you with zero liquidity? Excluding your stocks and saving acct which is probably 6% introductory or wont be for very long. Just curious what made you go this way, and not an ETF for example.

I use the term in a broad and familiar sense, to convey the notion of the positive net effect of profiting by the investment (in any financial instrument) of existing capital, in contrast to the negative net effect of borrowing money to finance an unprofitable venture, or one whose expected profit does not exceed the sum of the cost of the financing plus the opportunity cost.

This can be a savings account, a CD, a Money Market fund, individual securities, mutual funds, bonds, or even your uncle Guido who has a "sure thing" on Santa's Little Helper in the third race because his butcher's cousin's Lexus dealer's nephew has poisoned all the other dogs. Even if you're just stuffing a hundred bucks a week into a cigar box for four months you'll still come out ahead in the end vs. borrowing $1600 and paying it off at the equivalent rate, since you won't have lost money on interest payments.

I haven't sat down and crunched the numbers recently, but I'd estimate that I'm probably at about 25% (gross) for the year to date. I'm not a stockbroker, nor do I know anybody who is. I don't have any insider info, I don't listen to the Motley Fool, and I don't subscribe to Barron's or the WSJ. I simply look at whatever obvious trends are happening in the world, and stick whatever free cash I have into mutual funds that coincide with that trend.

So, when the US invaded a sovereign nation for the second time recently and it became apparent that gas & oil prices were heading up, I bought natural resources and energy funds. Lately, the economies of southeast Asia and Latin America in general have been on the uptick, so I'm heavily invested there. For all I know, the China-general fund I'm in could have 90% of its holdings in companies that make the little plastic thing that goes onto the end of shoelaces, but so long as more and more Chinese are discovering the benefits of shoe-ownership I really don't care. Likewise, even though I couldn't afford a home I profited from the overall trend in real estate over the past few years by investing in a REIT (which I recently liquidated.)

Obviously I'm not magic and I don't pick all winners. And I'm not usually psychic enough to liquidate a position before the downturn. I lost big-time when I bet on Russian durable goods and domestic medical delivery. But overall, I've been fortunate enough that the winners have outweighed the losers.

I just can't stand seeing people manage money poorly. So far as I know I don't have a drop of Jewish blood in me since Moses, and yet that is my second-greatest pet-peeve in all the world. (My first is the mis-use of the apostrophe.)

Seriously. I don't care if the whole world thinks that Americans are a bunch of fat, lazy, stupid, inbred, SUV-owning, NASCAR-watching, cousin-marrying, war-mongering, celebrity-worshiping, child-molesting, self-righteous xenophobic ******** who drink fizzy beer.

But when I see a middle-class family purchasing a $20,000 car "for only $299 a month", or going on a cruise to New Zealand instead of driving somewhere nice on holiday, or buying a 70" plasma TV because you get 10% off at Best Buy if you put it on your newly-opened store credit card with 1 percent* APR and no payments for 90 days**, well... That, my friends, makes me want to puke.

I'm not saying that we all need to live like paupers- far from it, this is America after all! I own a big TV, a motorcycle, and a car into which I've poured at least twice as much money as it's actually worth. I buy alcohol that other people drink, I buy name-brand cheese at the supermarket, and I use braided stainless lines for my turbo oil drain. But one's discretionary expenditures must meted out be in proportion to ones' financial situation.

whoa lol,,, my little loan is at 9% intrest, after the first year,
so for the first year, there is no interest. after that, its 9%
so 9% of my 3k loan will be 300 extra or so, but since the first year is free
and im paying it off in 2, ill only end up paying 150 more for buiying it now,
as opposed to buying it in 2 years
if i were to save the money my self,(in a cigar box)
