I know that I'm just trying to get all the parts in "groups"
I will get the MS and injectors first.
I'm looking for the best deal for dp, mani, turbo, exhaust and it looks like Abe has it. eBay fmic, then other stuff I need

And oil lines, and water lines, and fittings, and hardware, and intercooler, and piping, BOV. Also the FM kit does not include exhaust.

Unless you are willing to read a lot more than you already have, the FM will save you a lot of headache. If you want to be cheap (and difficult) then by all means go for a do-it-yourself kit. But you need to read up on this stuff more. I don't even have a turbo yet, but I'm (almost) an expert because I've been reading up on this for 6 months.

Do you know what turbo you get with the FM kit? A REAL turbo...

Also, you get all your oil lines, and water lines. Your IC piping, and BOV. Plus other miscellaneous things, heat shields, filters, tap kit for your oil pan, ect.

But it's up to you.

Thats basiclly the route i'm taking as well.. I decided to get the MS and injectors last because I will be buying the parts over th next year or so. I don't want to buy electronic parts that become "outdated" by next year lol. It seems like there is always something newer and better coming out as far as MS, Injectors, and anything else electronic.

You might want to consider getting your new car first. Then taking a look at the suspension, engine health, doing a timing belt change, whatever else needs done....

Erat, I had no clue the FM kit came with all of that. I couldn't fin te specific parts list. If that is the case then FM is the better option.

The car I'm getting is my buddy's. passed compression, Megan coilovers, overall great car. And yes I will be doing suspension/brakes/ and what not before power.

Oh yeah, you're going to want to do a full tune up. Fuel filter, plugs, wires, CAS o ring, timing belt, water pump, good coolant flush, shifter bushings, hell all bushings, tires, brakes which are a big deal because you'll have a lot more power. The whole 9 yards.

Yeah figured I would lol. Also beefier clutch, flywheel, etc. This is definately achievable by summer. Thanks for the help guys really appreciate it

Noob here. I have also been looking at the FM kit w/ no electronics. The one thing that has me on the fence is that the intercooler pipes are silicone rather than metal (I come from the Evo world and we all upgrade to hard pipes). Is this not that big of a deal? Planning on making 220-250whp.

They're not your autozone pipes. They don't expand under pressure. Plus mine rub a little on a few things, i think that might help so they don't wear a hole in them as quick as a aluminum pipe would.

If you do the FM kit they make it easy for you.

1. Open Box.
2. Install all parts in Box.
3. Start Car.
4. Go tune

Step 4 is the hardest part of this.
