Hopefully they are going out today.

My "extender" arrived earlier last week. Not sure exactly how/where I'm supposed to apply suction, and it seems to have too many orifices. Maybe to accommodate "challenged" bros? Haz shop vac, will figure it out.

Delivered too late to do anything with them today. Will ship all the NA lowers tomorrow.

NB bros, there was a slight hiccup in the production process, so the fit between the upper and lower is very loose (too loose). We will be shipping a thin sleeve to all the NB owners later this week to sort out that fitment issue.

It the upper half of the down pipe the same for NA and NB? Any reason a NA down pipe wouldn't fit on a NB? I know it won't fit up to any off the shelf exhausts, but that really isn't an issue for me.

shuiend 09-20-2016 06:46 PM

I got my tracking number. So excited.

NA DP should fit fine on an NB if you can build a custom exhaust for it. Uppers are the same.

A couple of other notes. The NA guys who are still waiting for water lines will get their parts next week - I am waiting on a few bits to complete those oil/water line kits. In addition, there was a water fitting change for MY99 that means the 3/8" hoses I included with the water lines won't fit with NA motors, so if you're using an NA front water neck or NA water pump inlet, you need a 5/16" silicone hose instead of the 3/8" hose I gave you. If that's you, let me know and I'll drop a couple pieces of 5/16" in the mail when it arrives.

That works perfectly for me. Looking forward to getting the down pipe in so I can lay it next to my Absurdflow one and marvel at them until I get them on a car one day.

I didn't see any 'real life' pictures of the water / oil line kit so I figured I'd post some. The little anodized supports for the hard lines are super neat.

Looks like seriously nice stuff.

Those hose clamp separators are cool. You can get em on ebay for pretty cheap (for other projects). I got a big pack of red ones for random hose separation.

Don't forget the Blue Loctite though!

Nibbles approves of the welds on the TSE NB down pipe.

Hmm. Front or rear bung for the WB?

rear

Savington 09-23-2016 11:30 AM

Rear bung, yes. Front bung is futureproofing.

shuiend 09-23-2016 11:31 AM

I always like the lower rear bung due to making it easier to route O2 wires up into the cabin through the shifter turret hole.

shuiend 09-23-2016 11:38 AM

Also is there any reason to not weld the 2 pieces together instead of using the clamp? I am assuming the 2 piece design was more for shipping then a fitment issue?
