Welcome NOOB. We're glad you're here.

Please head on over to the Meet&Greet forum and have a look at some recent NOOB's who've started threads over there for a some good and bad examples of how to make your first post here at Miataturbo.net.

But since I'm a nice guy, I'll let you in on this little secret thing all message boards have... it's called the SEARCH button. If you'll head up to the top of the page and find it, you'll also see ADVANCED SEARCH. In the advanced search menu, you can change the search parameters to just search the titles of threads.

If you'll do this, and perform a TITLE SEARCH in ALL OPEN FORUMS for the word "specialties", you'll find 4 threads (including your own) with over 140 individual posts discussing this kit at length. PLEASE, don't be a NOOB who refuses to search and starts useless crap threads on subjects that have been discussed at length already. Be a GOOD NOOB! Read the sticky's, read the USEFUL SAVED POSTS forum, use the SEARCH function, use GOOGLE.

And again, welcome.

sam navy covered all the basics. for that price you can get a kit from a reputable company, or piece one together on your own that would be way better.

Ever since removing my AFM thanks to a proper stand alone I cringe a bit every time I see a $2,500+ turbo kit that still uses the AFM... anyways, either piece your own kit together or buy a kit from BEGI that will blow that Turbo specialties away in terms of quality and ability.

What everybody is saying is that if you buy the kit, you will end up replacing 80% of the kit within a year or two because the individual parts are crap and will break or have poor design that limits your overall potential.

That seems very high for what you get. I dont see anything that makes it worth the cost when a BEGi-S is only $2000... and you get better quality and probably more little bits and pieces. Though that does have an intercooler and a "High Performance Fuel Management System"...

Default THanks for the input

BEGI-S was on my list anyway. Just wanted to see if anyone out there perhaps did an actual install.

I believe Urbanshoot tried it out at one point in time. He was thinking about selling them through his site. he said it was not worth the money. Search for his name and the kit and you should be able to find the thread.
