We all know that the car in Corky's hands needs some "help". But that's not what it's there for. It's there to be a fabrication platform to develop better parts. The downpipe will be the ****. He's also going to fab up a different intake tube on that car and send it to me.

We're talking 10% increase in power at the wheels and 700 rpm quicker spool. And maybe even more if the cold air box comes to life.

but then someone with a car in a better state of tune will have to test the dp for gains.

and if you do test an intake do it independent of the DP

I am going to go to the same dyno I went to before when I get my new dp. I won't have enough fueling to make more power without other upgades (injector limited), so I'm hoping to make equivalent rwhp & better tq at less boost.

The intake tube will address a drivability issue, and may not show anything appreciable at the dyno.

Want to install my AEM Uegos, waiting to see if I'll be installing it on the BEGI DP though

that shouldn't be a factor. Ask for a WB bung or not when you order.

Sorry, I meant, I don't want to install the bung on my current pipes and then buy the BEGI DP and have to redo it all, I can wait a month or two.

you wouldn't have to redo anything WB wise, just unscrew it and screw it back into the new DP.

Car is in the shop and on jack stands. Old downpipe has been removed. We are currently making a JIG/Fixture off of the old downpipe. Then we will assemble a new downpipe and put it on the car. We are about a week away from being completed. And probably a few more days after that to get it dyno'd and tuned some.

We can make downpipes with an extra O2 bung - however it must be specified that you need one.
Thanks,
Stephanie

man i wish this much greddy stuff was going on when I had my old car. I remember fighting to tell people that you could get far with the kit and having them laugh at me.
