Not derailing at all! Bad part was they had just mowed the day before so dead grass was all over the place, took less than a minute to become that size I am very surprised they put it out as quickly as they did.

All I need now is.. well everything! Still waiting for turbo stuff, debating what wheel/tire combo to get, building my cage here in the next month with new seats. Long list but no rush, still going to be my DD

those of you in Texas should come out to ECR june 23 for the 5-star ford track day, it would be cool to have a miata crew in the house.

Be aware that as soon as you add a turbo, you will also need to do some serious cooling system upgrades for it to not overheat in an instant on a track... especially in Texas.

I have a begi coolant reroute and godspeed 52mm radiator. My temps are 160F cruising and 180F in town. I am copying Genesplicers build thread for good ducting so hopefully it can get better cooling once I add my turbo.

Before spending 2 days doing ducting right:
235* f on the freeway at 80mph with the A/C on while using Flyin' Miata's heat extraction hood.

After spending 2 days doing a proper ducting:
195* f on the freeway at 80mph with the A/C on while using the stock hood. If I put on the heat extraction hood, my 160* thermostat nearly closes.

I couldn't resist - ducting pics are on my camera, I'll have to get them later.

Nope - It's insanely problematic to get obd2 readings off a '94 with a Hydra in it.

Crazy, I installed the fans that godspeed gives you when you order their radiator (universal stuff) and my temps dropped a lot. At idle with the a/c on I am about 170F, haven't tested while cruising! I may have to add one of the fans to a switch so I can manually turn it on and off when needed. I don't run a thermostat just yet since it is summer time, not needed in 100* Texas

I still have a LOT to go over on my car, I am sure the engine will be pulled in and out several times before I actually feel I am satisfied with everything.
