All amateur and most professional race sanctioning bodies in the US do not allow side windows. Keep moving, stay dry-ish.

BTW they're easy to take out at the track and put them up after your day.

Sure you don't have to do this with enclosed trailer...

North of the border, we have to open or close the windows. But if your stock in your caged car with helmet and Hans, trust me, you don't want any window nor triangle on your side at least !
