Yeah. I'm not a fan of any splined or hex QRs They just get sloppy too fast, even the balleur sweet manufacturing ones that cost more than even the most expensive Ball detent style ones will eventually suck.

I don't remember the make of the one I have (and I did not buy it, could be expensive), but it's of the "pear-shaped"-keyed style and it have no slop at all after all this time.

The closest one I can find now is the "OMP Lightweight", but I think my "pear-shaped" thingy is a little larger.

sweet mfg quick release isn't anywhere as good at the woodward. the only problem is the woodward is hard to find without a steering column.

we have the MOMO Quick release. or i call it the kidney bean. MOMO STEERING WHEEL QUICK RELEASE - BOLT-ON

everyone ive seen with it have loved it. it's simple and light.

That one seems to be similar to the S-Box quick release I referenced earlier.
