How much does that weigh? Looks very light.

This car is not too far from Super GT spec. I would post it on the public fb group.

That's sad.
Best of luck with it.

Eh....what you gonna do. I am over it.

There's a reason Emilio always parts out his builds when he's ready to move on. Too much money hidden in various expensive race bits that fetch a tidy sum on their own.

I also had a nice E36 wide body race car. Tried selling it for $30k but got no takers. I parted it out and made over $70k. It's just the reality of it all.

The roof/wing sale will kick it all off. I've received offers between $4-5k for those alone. The widebody rolling chassis should fetch a tidy sum as well. There's a treasure trove of race bits remaining after that so I expect things to work out quite nicely.

Hate it but I understand, ended up doing the same with my last build. Good luck with it.

How much are you considering selling the shell? I might consider swapping all of my K swap into it.

The car has been sold complete and will continue on its NorCal rampage in the hands of a great buyer.

I am grateful for the experience both building and racing this fine car. The journey was amazing! Met some wonderful people in this community too! I couldn't be happier with the conclusion of it staying together in one piece. It also ended on a high note with a great buyer. He's got plans to refine the car even further so I look forward to following its continued development.

Special thanks to Emilio and Andrew. Both were instrumental in the success of this car. Both enhanced the journey with great support, camaraderie and friendship along the way.

Congrats on the sale. Always a good feeling to have a car like this go to a local enthusiast.

I’ve been eyeballing this car for a while and the stars aligned for both me and Tom and I was able to buy it. I will continue to develop the car and update it in the original build thread.

Congratulations to both of you! Hey Tom, maybe this means you will have time to bring the Lightning out for a Wednesday night or 2.

Congrats. That car is a sweetheart.

Although I think you should start your own thread. New story, new adventures.
