I am finally done with all the holiday stuff with family and such. The next 3 days should be spent out in my garage working on things. I have to get the 2 cars I currently have in there back on the road. 1 is the NB I have been building all the NB setups on, it needs PS fluid, O2 sensor installed, and wheels put back on. Then I can get it out.
The other car is my 94 VVT swap, it needs oil filled, fuel lines hooked up, reroute coolant hose extended to fit, coolant filled, MS3X installed, wheels installed, hood, trunk, and front bumper installed. Then it gets driven out of the garage.
Once the garage is empty my other 94 gets rolled in and I drop my built motor into it. Then I get building on the rest of the 1.8 NA setups. I am hoping by the end of the weekend to have started on the build process.

For anyone thinking about their porting, all you need to do is enlarge the hole. I added 5mm of diameter, and this is what my boost looks like with the wastegate wired open. Yup, maxes out at 1.4 psi.

My car is transformed. Solid 10 psi on wastegate only. So amazing.

I think the higher boost is from pre-loading the WG actuator. The one that comes with the turbo is rated for 8psi.

not sure why it is plotted against mph. But I emailed to see if I can get a different plot. Couldn't get a good pull on wastegate only, sorry Lars. I think my plug wires are getting old because we had a problem using my number 1 wire for rpm at first, it caused a bunch of misfires. This is at about 13 psi climbing to 14.5 at the top end. I do have some files for you, will email them after work.

Not bad for an all stock internals, original 230,000 mile motor.

It is freezing out right now, so progress has been a bit slow. I can't justify buying a heater for the 3 weeks of sporadic cold weather we get in Charleston. Tonight I am hoping to start cutting holes in manifolds for the t3 flanges until I get to cold to keep working, or run out of cutting disks for my angle grinder.
Yeah if you can get the dyno set to RPM's that would be awesome. Did you also take logs of each pull? I would be interested in seeing what VD says for the log to compare it to it the real dyno of it. Overall I think the pull looks really good.

That torque curve is beautiful! That's basically the entire rev range of street usable power. Great kit, Lars, and nice job wrenching and tuning, Carlos!

It has been cold as **** out recently, so have not gotten as much done as I would have liked. Currently have all the 1.8 NA manifolds about 95% complete. 1.6 manifolds need flanges welded on. The 1.8 car I use for building setups now has the engine and trans installed. Today I am hoping to pick up all the oil line setups from the hydraulic shop. The next week looks to be in the mid 60's out. So planning on getting out and working on setups. The goal for the rest of the week is to get all the 1.8 NA axle backs done while I have that jig out. Then will get working on the down pipes. I am working on it all, just slower then I would like.
Also UPS fucked up and lost a box with an axle back and downpipe for one of the NB guys. So I will be rebuilding his down pipe and axle back very soon to get sent out to him.
If you want more a better estimate, emailing me is faster and easier.

Sorry for my bitching Lars but these courier stories **** me off. That sucks that you have to make it again, hopefully it will warm up soon there.
