Poly isn't necessarily a bad thing - there are lots of sprayable chemicals that don't combine well with metals - bleach and stainless steel is a good example.

Programming people, need a program to write and compile C++ code in. I need to be able to run it 100% from usb without any files depending on the computer.
The computers at school have a crappy system where we need to transfer stuff over to a separate server just to have the program compile it on that server and that server is very slow. It's a nasty design and all the classroom systems get wiped daily so installing software every day is not logical.
I loooked at code blocks but the latest version is from like 2011 or something. Not sure if thats abandoned or something.

But that likely requires you to be able to change the bios settings to enable USB boot, which might be password protected.

 

Skip eclipse and just use emacs.

Has anyone ever gotten a TFCC tear in their wrist? It's been about a year and my wrist still feels achy while holding a coffee mug. I've already gotten a cortisone shot. It did help with the twisting opening doorknob pain though. It clicks sometimes too.

This happened while making a storage in my garage. I must have overloaded it with the weight of the drill. I can't recall me ever binding a screw and torquing my wrist.

 

I see a firefight brewing. I'm gonna go grab my vim guns.

​I talked about this earlier in the thread. Start with vim or (shudder) emacs. If may be a steeper learning curve. But is worth it.

 

Chances are real good my wife and I will be bringing home a baby today. Good times!

Here is my short treatise on baby cuteness trait evolution:

Babies are a lot of work but they are also incredibly cute and do not fail to make you smile. You will feel a strong connection (hopefully) to the baby and want to hold it and touch it and change poopy diapers because it's such a cute baby.

This is evolution.

I have a joke with my wife (we have a 4 year old and an 8 month old) that prior to this evolutionary trait of cuteness, cavebabies were simply tossed off a cliff into a big pile of discarded babies. When our son(s) do something horribly awful and intolerable like crying all night and pooping on our bedsheets, we smile and giggle and tickle them and say to our baby, "awww it's a good thing you're so cute so you don't end up on the pile of babies at the bottom of the cliff."

Also remember that you have a one year period of recovery starting from that baby's birth. Especially your wife. Her body wont be hers again for a long time and she'll need your support and sym/empathy many times over the next 12 months.

But it's a lot of fun. I can't wait to teach mine to drive... for now the youngest is not quite big enough.

GF and I are very in the anti-kid camp. DINK's for life.

 

DINK is where it's at. Spoil the nieces/nephews and hope they repay when you're old and infirm.

 

Can we admit that babies are not cute. They look like strange little aliens.
