I said the fastest currently. Here is a 12.7 @ 109 with a crappy 60' time. You need a better timeslip to hold the title. All you need is tires.
Also I never said I have the most powerful MKTURBO.
Looks like the road to the track will be flooded and the race rained out for president's day.
As I have said many times now, I would love to hang out and lose to some of you guys any Wednesday night drag at Sears Point. I had so much fun visiting everyone at MRLS.
Vlad, you are one of my favorite members on here. Maybe I can get off early one Wednesday, of course mid March is when our races start up too.
Me thinks you have a new super charger and will be in the 11's
Made a new larger "Deezums catch can."
I basically wanted a bit more capacity in the cold side. I had some concerns about the different design not holding pressure as well, so I rigged it up with my bike pump. Holds 40psi solid until I pop off the hose.
More hooptie *** brackets
Crazy storm tonight and my wife say she took out the recycling and the green bin while it was calm, would I mind taking the trash?
So I open the back door, and boom! A blast of rain and the atmosphere vents back at me for all those times in the past
The new catch can uses a clip mechanism to hold the cup on instead of just threading on. It sucks and turned out to be the cause of a loud clicking sound when going between boost and vacuum. It was just slop in the mechanism, an 1/8" thick o-ring at the bottom between the plastic cup and the metal cage solved it.
I also took out my trusty bike pump and took the time to get real open and closed boost duty values at different frequencies. I pulled all the hoses and capped one of the 2 wastegate can ports at a time. I attached my pump as the boost source and made sure I could pump and hold 20psi for each setting. I know some of you will disagree, but I want to know when my valve starts to vent pressure to the opposite side of the can, not if it seems to make it spool faster
These are for the MAC 4 port boost solenoid valves. At least this is how it works on my car at 20psi.
15.6Hz 4% = closed and 79% = open
19.5Hz 6% = closed and 74% = open
26Hz 8% = closed and 66% = open
39Hz 14% = closed and 53% = open
I am currently trying 39Hz and calling 12% closed and 55% open to be sure.
OK, so the bigger catch can still sucks. It doesn't seem to contain the oil as well as the smaller one. Either that or my rings and intake valve guides have worn too far.
Swapped them back, I will see if the problem persists. If so I guess I better hurry up with that motor.
