Later, there were reports on facebook and twitter of a frozen body driving a green car spotted by some along Rt 95. People may have dismissed the reports as fake news. Maybe the car is still going on autopilot; keep a look out. While there are many frozen minds driving cars nowadays, this one could be our guy.

And if you do happen to find him, be sure to thaw him out slowly. Don't go too fast or you may crack something vital and then we may not get the rest of the parts. Someone on this board may be experienced in the heating element or gas to use and prescribe the proper method to preserve all vital functions.

actually he messaged me yesterday (or the day before) about tuning his EFR Miata, so I think he's alive. Unless it was his cats messaging me

Too busy developing his next kit: the MKsmertswamper, so you can mount the curb, then park between a tree and a parking meter.

He told me he was working on an AI module for implanting in the cranium somewhere. His first experiment was with one of the cats and after some experimenting with different drill bits he found the right one and has mated it with a good tap to go to production one day. Said this AI-cat now handles all his messages and now he was training it to drive his car. So it was his cat who was messaging you. All MKTurbo kits ordered with high flow cats will be upgraded with this AI module and you will get autopilot for free. He is on his way to take on Tesla.

But this is a secret. Dear friend, I only share with you because in this part of the world we like to help out our fellow man.

Tip: Buy some Tesla put options now and make out big time. Remember that this is an insider tip so don't do the trade on the regular stock exchanges or the SEC will find you. I can send you an account number in Africa where you can wire the funds and we will do the trade for you. Millions and billions await you. Why are you waiting. Call or email now.

I’ve been emailing/PMing/VMing/texting since before Halloween and still haven’t gotten a response back either. It’s been a great experience so far, but being left in the dark sucks.

Your situation is understandable; be a little more patient. I think he had a life changing event in going full time and so has a lot on his plate. And he had to find some other vendors for a few things. Its not easy making this transition. I do believe he is almost all caught up with the parts that he needed to order and is now working on them.

He's painstakingly making all his cats high-flow cats. With all his orders, and all his cats, it's a process that shouldn't be rushed.

Anyone know what lbs spring is in the new turbo Lars is sending out with the kit? The packaging that came with the turbo is DNA motoring if that helps.

Mine came with an eight lb. Spring. Are you going to port the wastegate before initial install?

Yea it's already ported. Did your turbo come with gaskets? Mine didn't I'm wondering if I should buy some. Gaskets for the t3 to manifold part

No gasket between turbo and manifold. Good thing about it being ported. It was a PITA for me.

My turbo came with a metal gasket for the turbo/manifold interface. I used it. I’m not sure if it’s necessary or not.

I can also confirm my kit (received about a month ago) came with an 8lbs spring. With porting, I still get creep. Highest recorded creep only 9.3lbs or 1.3lb over target, so it's not bad. Maybe I'll try and open it up a little more next time I have the turbo off. Other than that, the kit has been preforming excellent! Like actually better than I had anticipated. Zero regrets other than not doing this sooner.

Have you or anyone else been able to confirm if there's clearance with the FM butterfly brace?

I will in a week or two. In the process of installing the turbo and FM brace. Working on it like three hours every other day so progress is slow. Plus doing it int he winter time outside is no fun. I will let you know as soon as I have it on if it fits

I think the most likely answer, based upon other threads here on downpipe design, is “maybe”.

I think it may behoove you to replace your radiator sooner than later!
