It is similar to this one, but I used a VW pulley on top. Putting the VW pulley on the bottom doesn't allow you to tighten/loosen the VW pulley with their design (it's almost impossible to reach the bolt from behind).

I just used a scroll saw to cut the AL, it goes pretty quick..

Dave,
The one I'm using right now is the one Scott (Braineack) sells. I don't have as much free time as I used too...(IMO making the harness is more time consuming than building the unit -really time consuming). I may pick up another for my 96, but we'll see, the MS isn't perfect with the temp fluxuations in the NE, it gets old having to fiddle with it every other week, the EMB is pretty much just set it and forget it.

I just finished building (like an hour ago) a T3 manifold for the 94, but I may drop those plans now, it looks like routing to the CS TB is gonna be too much of a PITA. I don't see how Jay got 2 1/2" pipe to fit and have a radius to turn between the TB and firewall (coming up from underneath). But we'll see...

Camping onto this thread. I'm new to the forum. didn't realize there was section for sc.
I'm in the middle of a cs conversion for JRSC. bought the cs from Chuck Wills almost two years ago..... lots of procrastination
my 94 is a slightly modded DD for track use. Koni's & FM springs, sways. JR headers. r-compounds.
hoping it will be CA smog legal...
Powercard, J&S knock sensor.
no WI (yet). goal is to have 160-170 reliable HP, (not running on the edge)
I admit to not knowing how to be a tuner.

I noticed Deadmeat has posted already (IIRC he got his cs last year?)

I've contacted John Starr and Martt about their coldsides also.

I love my JRSC setup, but my intake temps suck. I guess it doesn't help that I'm running without an intercooler of any sort! I'm going to mod my MegaSquirt to control the Aquamist fast acting valve, do you know of a good place to buy these from?

Hey Mike,

I'm about a month away (May 10th ) from having the coldside on the car for a year.

As of right now, I'm burning oil quite a bit. I actually look like a crown vic going down the street instead of a Miata...

I have the perpetual blue cloud following me.

I think it might be because when I got the car (way back a few years ago) I found the car was running over 25 degrees advanced timing. So I imagine the fact that it was running that lean and pinging for who knows how long, that it did some sort of engine damage.

The cars only got about 136k miles on the chassis and motor. I drove the **** out of it for years, and even more so when I got the supercharger on it.

I'd highly recommend getting the bigger throttle body for the supercharger, along with a nice flowing exhaust system at 2.5" .

And a little further down the road when your done using bandaids, get a megasquirt and get rid of the AFM and run a cone directly off the supercharger

Good luck, it was an easy one day install for me to do.

-meaty
