Thanks for the positive feedback

I noticed the revised bushings are discontinued now - what's the reason? I just received a set and am planning on installing over the winter.

My (revised black bushings) are going strong after a season of track abuse.

But if I had to guess, this whole project was probably a loss (or a wash) for them. Lots of support and work for not much profit, these things require super tight tolerances to work properly and miata's are cheap 90's sports cars that vary in dimensions a lot.

I of course do not speak for supermiata at all! Just a person with their bushing kit.

The 863 kit simply requires too much of our resources.

We are replacing it with a traditional (no bronze) urethane kit from Whiteline which will be in stock in January. We may look at a race focused Delrin and spherical hybrid kit in a year or so when we have our wheel program back at full steam.

In related news to sphericals....

https://flyinmiata.com/products/na-n...al-bearing-kit

Edit: or order straight from the source without the FM markup https://vudevelopment.com/product/ma...ng-kit-22-pcs/ (#FMmarketingfail)

wow, considering you can get a full set installed FOR YOU by kieslerautomation for a couple hundred bucks more then the flying miata. makes the keisler service seem like a great value tbh

Let's continue any discussion about the FM/VUDevelopment/Kiesler spherical kits in a new thread. No problem with mentioning them here but further discussion should be in its own place.

As a user of the SADfab version, I am disappointed for the community - these bushings are the ducks guts.

However I understand 949 is a business, not a community service provider, and needs to survive financially, so if he says he can't afford to make them at a price point people will buy at, that is his call to make. At least that is the inference I draw.

Very glad I got in on one of the last batches of SM 863 bushings, and I'm also disappointed they're leaving. Had my fair share of issues with cars with sphericals, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the SM kit to customers and friends.

Thanks for the kind words Josh!

We took an inventory of remaining bits and we have enough that we can sell a few more kits while still keeping plenty of stock of replacement parts to support these kits for years to come. They're back in stock on the site and ready for immediate shipment.

Full kits here: https://www.949racing.com/product/su...-05-mx5-miata/

Individual parts can be purchased here: https://www.949racing.com/product/sp...3-bushing-kit/

Full bearing service kits available here: https://www.949racing.com/product/863-service-kit/
