Default Clutch not engaging w/ car is on.

Just recently changed out my clutch, now it won't go into gear. In search of trying to figure out why. I've replaced the clutch cylinder, slave, lines. Not sure what else could it be. I tried playing around with the clutch adjustments as well.

Did you make sure you bled the system well?

Did you install it backwards?

With the car off and in gear can you push the car? Is the pedal soft? with the car off have someone look and see if fork moves when you push the clutch. I've seen the bearing on the front of the trans input shaft seize, and that would leave the wheels engaged to the engine.

Correct. If rleete had ever seen a clutch disk, he'd know you don't bolt it to anything. It doesn't have bolt holes.

The fork moves about an inch or so, and yes I bled it correctly. Also the pedal is firm. no I can't push the car while it's in gear.

Add another vote for the disc being in backwards. I've done it before, sucks. If the fork is moving then the problem is 100% inside the transmission so you might as well start pulling it out.

I think its time to drop the transmission and see what is going on. If the fork is moving 1", that should be plenty. Did this issue arise at one moment, or did it get worse as time went on?

Read FMs clutch install instruction for adjusting clutch free-play. I had similar symptoms after installing their clutch.
