They eat up the the equivalent spring rate worth of weight, which in my case is around 100 lbs IIRC (got to remember the effect of springs in series).

The helpers will do something when the entire rear becomes unloaded not so much on the side to side because of the sway bar.

Unfortunately, the road course I go to has no jumps

I could see how that would be the case. I need to get some footage of the front too. I'll see if I can find a place to mount the camera.

Actually, i just remembered a spot on the highway that feels like the car really lifts off the road. That might be a great shot of the car unloading... I'll try to get that on film.
