like i said up top im only going to run stagger if i have to i need wide in the back for drag racing i dont autocross the car but if i can fit the 225/45-16 toyo r1r tires then ill run them all around. plus alot of factory sports cars run stagger

The 215/45/16 is already large enough (diameter). That's exactly the tire I just picked up. But I dont see a reason to mix-and-match the compounds and widths. It is really worth the extra $175 for the rear tires?

I'd also like to see you fit the 225/45/16s up front, I know we couldn't fit a 225/50/15 on a lowered miata, and the 225/45/16 is the same diameter, 24". I'm worried about my 215/45s fitting...

I have 205/50/16s up front. they fit fine with my car lowered 2.5"

nah like these Hoosier A6 im kinda tempted to get em now anyway in narrower form 225-240 or so wide. Like i said understeer is your enemy and controlled oversteer via throttle is where the party is at.
