15x9 +36, NB spindle (5mm wider than stock), 245/580R15 Hoosier R80 radial. No workie. Fender is fully rolled, but I would need to pull it at least another 5-10mm to get clearance.

I'm going to do a grafted sheetmetal flare when the 10s show up, so this is as far as I got with the fitment.

Damn it... I was afraid of that. I'm going to have to put flares on the car before I consider the 15x10. 23x9.5xR15 Hoosiers on 15x9 6ULs, with 5mm spacers in the front, fit on my NA with aggressively rolled and pulled fenders, but just barely. There may have been some light rubbing on the very outside edge of the tread, but I am not certain. Ride height is set at 12.25"~12.5" in the front.

It is worth noting that Hoosier shows a section width of 10.7" with the 23x9.5xR15, versus a 10" section width with the 245/580-R15. So the sidewall is slightly narrower with the metric slick. The tread width for both is the same, 9.4"

It looks like that is a picture of the front. There is less clearance in the front than in the rear. That's what she said.

I wish. That's a picture of the rear. There was no doubt that I would be doing more than a roll+pull to fit the 15x10s, but I was hoping the 245s would fit on a 9 without a ton of work. Sadly, not so.

Depending on your ride height I think you can make the 245s fit with the 15x9 with heavy rolling and pulling. On the rear I was able to 'pull' the rear fenders out well past stock by applying a lot of load (gradually) with the fender roller. There is plenty of clearance on mine.

On the front it is harder to pull out the fenders because the fenders are not nearly as stiff and do not yield as much as the rears do when pulled on. I would like more clearance in the front since they will rub with enough suspension compression, but it takes a lot, like less than 10" ride height with the wheels straight.

If you have a fender roller, go for it. You have nothing to lose if you are going to install flares anyway. That being said, I am still going to add flares to mine anyway.

aw hell jsut break out the tape and grinder and then get some flares, it will be just fine:bowrofl:

I think flares made my car look like butt. Once out of school and I'm baller enough to street R6's, then the front flares might look okay with the 15x10's. On 9's and 225's I just couldn't do it, even with a spacer.

I have a little more clearance. V8R hubs (not sure how far they go out) and no spacer with same tire on a 15x9. My ride height needs adjustment since I just installed new shocks and have a reverse rake 4.5/4.

The 245's look lost on mine with 9" 6UL & 8mm spacer. :)

Something around 22.7~23" OD. not really room to go bigger diameter without limiting bump travel or taking more drastic measures moving more metal out of the way than just fixing the fender lip.

Container arrives at our shop tomorrow it looks like. Resist the temptation to call/email Thursday for an up to the second update as I won't answer anyway. Job 1 when a ctr arrives is shipping wheels out. We have the labels made and Fedex notified to bring a big truck. The pre-ordered wheels don't even go inside the building. I personally deliver Goodwin's that evening, Phil's ships the next day.

Picked up my set at 949 on Friday. They are way sexy. I'll snap some photos once they actually fit on the car - flares are, um, required.

The 245/580R15 Hoosier on a 15x10 wheel is 0.8lbs lighter than a 225/45R15 NT-01 on a 15x9 wheel, too. :D

So how do they fit on an NA? How much work needs to be done to make them fit?

Stock un-rolled fenders will work, assuming you are at stock ride height and do not ever intend on driving the car :giggle:
