Picked up my set at 949 on Friday. They are way sexy. I'll snap some photos once they actually fit on the car - flares are, um, required.
The 245/580R15 Hoosier on a 15x10 wheel is 0.8lbs lighter than a 225/45R15 NT-01 on a 15x9 wheel, too. :D |

^^^ You SUCK ^^^ Mine aren't going to be here until the 17th. Living on the "right" side of the country does suck sometimes :(

So, if your suspension moves 1/4 inch it rubs?

I got my wheels today and they are real purdy. I'm not used to seeing 6uls that aren't caked in brake dust. It's a little disappointing to hear that pulling the stock NA fenders isn't going to work. Not much of a fan of the various body kits and flares, but I'll probably give in after seeing what everyone else does. Getting the 245s on 9s to fit under stock fenders is probably not worth the effort with the 10s sitting around to replace them.

Me neither. I can't stand flares. I'm going to try to make the Autokonexion fenders look as factory as possible.
The wide-body kit is something else all together. I liked most of it except the rear quarters. I bought the 30mm overlay quarters and blended them into the rockers of the wide-body kit for a much better look. The wide-body kit does benefit from better aero because the front bumper and rocker panels direct air away from the front of the tires. Most of you guys have already addressed the front aero as part of the splitter. |
if you guys are worried about the look of flares, but why not just cut the fenders and leave it alone? I am not sure how that would affect you guys on track, I do that with my autox car.
Also just got my wheels today, omg they are nice. They weighed 13.6 on my scale at work(no idea last time it was calibrated). For the record that is a whole pound less than two of my spinwerks and 1.5 pound less on the other two(dont ask).:vash: |
Exposed tire = aero drag liek whoa

Is getting the replacement 30mm fenders for the front and extreme pulling at the rears an option? I don't have a tire on the 15x10s yet to check the fitment.

Hope you aren't fond of the paint in the rear - it won't survive the pull job required to fit them. |
