If it does have an external and uses te clutch switch circuit I found that even in gear the neutral switch on my car had too much continuity for the EMS4 and I had to have it unplugged for the clutch switch to work as the switch to turn on launch control. Neutral switch and clutch switch are wired in parallel, for reference.

its kinda funny - the closer each of our build threads gets to being "completed", the more of a rollercoaster of emotion you see with each posts and challenege. been there, done that, hang in there buddy, resolve 1 thing at a time.

perhaps look over the wiring and grounds?

Is it supposed to be set to Time-Based? Cause it is right now?!?!

Also here is a screenshot of my Ignition settings (dwell?)... Someone let me know if they see anything wrong

Haha yeah its definitely frustrating being "right there" only to have hiccup after hiccup... I feel like it runs great other than full throttle. Still 100% drivable so im happy about that. Just wish I could mash the gas without it falling on its face

Check spark dwell

I also wouldn't really mash it on a base tune. Yea they work ok for getting around but my tuner told me that had he known how far off my base tune was he would have just started from scratch cause it was way off.

disable EAE (for the time being) and use accel-pump, not timed based.

I don't know what the dwell should be at but I heard it can cause misfires up top if set wrong. My MS IIRC doesnt have a cranking and nominal dwell, just one value, which for me is 2.5

When I blew out my first COP module, I had my dwell set at 5.0 and was told to change it to 2.5 for the next one. Maybe the guy who made your COP kit can advise better

Your MS3X also has a LOT more features than my MS2X, and looks vastly expanded. I don't know what most of the things in mine do let alone yours.

Take it from someone who's walked the shitty road and just take it easy. Play around, but leave the big things to the pros. You're going to need a pro tune anyway, and it's not your only car. Sometimes it is better do just do nothing lol

I would use about 20% MAP

and lower the threshold to like 10. or actually tune the rpm and mapdot threasholds...

Not sure if this will work but heres a dropbox link to a datalog with the high rpm fall on face issue ... Problem occurs once or twice pretty close to the beginning of the log
