That map is so conservative, it should nto be detonating, and it clearly is based on that dyno graph.
Im going to ask again because you didnt respond the first time
What plugs are you running?
What octane are you running?
Also, there is no way to adjust the timing on a 99, so I have no idea how the base timing could be off.

I bet the plugs are the cause of this, because nothing about the tune or anything else looks like it should be causing detonation like that.
Replace the plugs and see if it suddenly gets faster.

Uhm, that map is the strangest thing I have seen... I dunno how it's running good at all; but heey.... who knows, right?
So there is a sorta well known 4K RPM issue with our knock sensors picking up the "noise" of the engine. Did you compensate for this in your knock settings?
Since I'm running something close... give this map a shot.... it needs a little love to make it perfect; but it will get you a whole f'load closer.

no i do not know what Travis did as that goes. He did say he felt the ping though not just what the sensor told him.
