Default MTX-L quick install question- A Pillar headlight power wire

Hey all,

Parts continue to arrive for my turbo setup.

I have a Innovate MTX-L that just arrived. I HAD been planning to connect the white wire to the headlight dimmer as my gauges will be in the A-pillar, however Innovate's instructions strictly advise not to do that.

Does anyone have a recommendation of where to tap into a line that supplies power to the headlights? Might be a stupid question.... but if anyone knows it would be great.

it needs a 12v signal when the lights come on...like the radio uses...not the dimmer dimmer.

you can tap a wire in the dimmer switch if just have to lookup which one

I just tap the wire into the illumination wire on the radio harness.
