Default Stock 99 runs like crap below 3000rpm

Does it in all situations. Hot. Cold. Light throttle. Wot.

No CELs.

Above 3000 it is totally happy.

By runs like crap i mean consistently misses and stumbles.

Please help me fix my daily.

Spark plug wires? Although when my car used to cook mine, it would only stumble as it revved passed a certain rpm, usually between 3000-4000rpm. Worth a shot, we all know you like throwing money at your car.

Its funny because this sounds kinda like my problem but mine was 2000-2500 rpm. But my problem was anything above 50kpa load between 2k-2.5k and i was running E85 that had stayed there for a week without being touched. A member on miatanet said it was E85 going bad... problem disappeared halfway through the new tank.

Unplug whatever we're calling the intake air sensor and see if it behaves differently. I recently had a chaffed wire on my daily and had a similar symptom. I'm guessing it's a spark relate problem.

maybe 3k is the switchpoint for CL/OL and a bad sensor is causing it to freak out in CL?

Have you hooked up an OBDII scanner to watch what is going on with everything while this is happening?

I have a bluetooth OBDII adapter that I use with the app "Torque" on my phone and it allows me to monitor everything that is going on.

WTF is this OBDII scanner thing. Seriously, I have never heard of it.

I guess I can get one loaned from autozone or something? Or no?...

The cheap OBDII scanners just hook to the OBDII port and read codes, the expensive ones can read all the data that the ECU outputs. I bought
this this
bluetooth OBDII adapter for my pickup truck. I then use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torque&hl=en app on my phone as an interface for the adapter.

Except your iPhone 4s has shitty blue tooth api's so developing blue tooth apps is next to impossible. So they are not exactly baller.

There might be other OBDII software for the iphone, I have never looked and have no desire to.
