Anybody had their exhaust randomly start banging against **** or rattling/moving around? I don't know why it started, I'm thinking some poly donuts or something will fix it. I've never had this issue before.

Update on the 2010 Impreza wagon: co-worker found out there is a dealer quote for $2k to replace "the entire exhaust." That didn't make sense so I had him dig a little deeper. It turns out the chick who is selling it went to school in VT for a number of years and made no effort to deal with the new england road salt, so the exhaust is corroded as ****. I suspect it's got more corrosion hidden under the bumpers and such, and even knowing there is a $2k repair pending she still wants more than KBB "Excellent Condition" list price for that year/mileage. I told him that was crackpipe and to walk, or lowball the **** out of her but expect to put $2k-4k into it over the next couple years. He's not the kind of guy who can handle dealing with head gaskets or replacing an exhaust himself, and she's the girlfriend of a friend, so he's bummed, but he admits is probably not the right car for him right now.

Lol. Dude is 22. His entire experience with cars is a hand me down early 2000's Camry he got from his parents before he left for college. He's REALLY ******* EXCITED and I don't blame him, but he does not need to make this mistake right now. If the seller wanted significantly less than book for something like that I'd be tempted buy it, lift it, skid plate it, throw some grabber at2s at it and hoon the **** out of it in the dirt, for the lulz. But you have to remember my mechanical ability and tolerance for fuckery is far, far different than his. His world will collapse when he gets the first $2k repair bill to fix something.

Probably yes, eventually. I did email Tactrix yesterday to find out what they want for one, but I've not heard anything back yet. I'll prod you sometime next week about it if they haven't replied.

cobb sells them for 5+ shipping
ebay has em for 12 shipped
tactrix probably about the same
you can even ghetto rig your own in like 5 minutes with 2 half inch long wires and 4 connectors.
I've actually rigged them up before once with 2 staples and once with a paper clip
Oh and PM me your mod list again, the final version (lol) so I can make you a new map

Why spend 5 minutes ghetto rigging something when I can pay Tactrix $12 and they'll send me one?
I'm not ready to start installing stuff yet because I'm still waiting on turbo oil drain hose, and I want to make sure we both have time in our schedules before I start bolting stuff up. Not that I don't trust your t00n, but I'm guessing its probably not a fabulous idea to drive on it for weeks and weeks and weeks until I find a hole in my schedule.
BTW, @MartinezA92, the package just showed up this afternoon and everything is in order. Thank you sir! I'll even send you some iTrader feedback

Step one is to figure out how to get this thing to record a log. All kinds of crazy and out of date info on the internet with these things! I feel like I'm probably not looking in the right spot though

No, of course not. Maybe a little. Ok, yes.
Realizing it was all garbage, I found romraider.com and openecu.org and they appear to have decent info? Just started reading into them a bit more last night but I'm hopeful.
