El oh el.

Funny thing about tires is they don't steer well when they are locked up, bro.

And yet again Brain posts something in the bad track driving thread that isn't on track, haha.

Should of hit the brakes before attempting to turn, amarite?

Well, yeah. He ideally should have slowed down before the turn. Since he didn't do that he shouldn't have completely locked down the brakes. When the wheels stop turning you end up where inertia is taking you with no ability to steer. If he had released the brakes at some point and steered in the direction where there continued to be roadway while applying a touch of throttle (because AWD), he may not have taken the fast way to the bottom.

It didn't even look to me like he was trying to take the next turn. It appeared more as if, as an afterthought, he was trying to pull over to the side because he just saw the Corvette parked there.

All that asphalt to the right at the tunnel exit- that's for setting up for the turn, right?

Or locked the brakes sooner, when a straight slide would not have resulted in going over the mountain.

The Scandinavian flick move was good, but ignoring the brake fluid change prior to the trackday is pretty boneheaded.

Did the owner say old brake fluid was the cause in the comment section or something?
