Bad Driving Pics and Videos Thread - Asshattery, Carnage, Stupidity

I did a $50 drift event in my track Miata and learned a ton about car control and recovering from scenarios like that. It used to be where if I started sliding, it was like a 25% chance I was able to save it. Now I can usually just ride it out about 90% of the time. Has saved me from having more than a couple time trials sessions DQ'd.

If you watch it slowly, I caught it, thought I had it, corrected back, then realized I didn't have it, and lost it completely.
I had just started using 3rd gear there and was able to combat the understeer with throttle, but that time i used too much.

As much as track drivers may not like drifters I can see and appreciate the ability to pull our of a big slide. Being in sub zero roads for 5 months it's a skill everyone up here should learn.

The instructors wet down a section of the school parking lot and made you get up to speed before they locked up the brakes and spun you out.
You had to be able to recover before you could pass the course.
I have no idea if that is standard or not, but it was a really good idea.
That skill has saved my *** many times.

nope, factory recaro. stocks seats don't like to be crashed at anything over 35mph.
