I'm assuming you're running EMU and nothing to raise fuel pressure? You obviously have a very conservative rich tune, right until you run out of injector where it gets very lean. Time to get some 460s or 550s! Maybe someone with emu and big injectors can send their map for you to compare with your own.

Did the o2 probe fall out of the tail pipe near the end of the red run?

Actually, I think I mis-labeled it. It may be an e-manage, not the ultimate.
Sorry.

yep

watch the "bottle necks" though. Your exhaust is only as good as its most restrictive point.

I needed 42whp when going from 2.5" to 3" w/test pipe in a 2.9l turbo motor.

they didn't measure your boost....
that will tell you if your pipe is to small....you'll see a
big diff when the other pipe is on.

what's the status on your new DP?

Not having any fuel really makes that thing suffer up top. :gay:

BTW, Steph...I'll be dynoing my T3 setup (begi manfiold/DP) on the 28th at 12psi. If you & corky are interested in looking at teh results let me know.

Sure! You can send it to me in .jpg, .pdf, or a dyno jet file.
Thanks,
Stephanie

BRG, since you're running EMB, you're going to need more fuel pressure to get enough gas into the motor. Since the car's already at BEGi, I'd ask them to install one of their FMUs. That should do it, and take you to 175 + whp at your current 7psi & probably (hopefully) near 200 whp with the new dp without increasing boost.

Here's my dyno results at 6 & 9 psi https://www.miataturbo.net/forums/sh...19&postcount=1
I get lots of fuel with a walbro pump and BEGi FMU, but ultimately you have more potential with your emb piggy than I do. I'd like to see you break 200 whp at 8-9 psi.

My intentions is to buy a wideband from BEGi to tune the car. I am also looking to buy the O2 clamp. With the wideband I should be able to tune the emanage properly, when BEGi is done using my car. I knew the car needed tuning. I will also be looking for dyno shop in the Houston area to dyno the car, once the car is properly tuned.

is the car going to be tuned before the dp?

I think it is pointless on a car that needs help because the results will be skewed
