I'm not used to the whole relay under the hood deal and it was getting late so when I started looking. the car has a much of stuff hooked so I can splice in im sure but I would rather take it from stock location with out cutting any more wires.

Not "under the dash" but I piggy on the connector for the cig lighter for e.g. WB.

that is a good idea. I way running out of time so I think I will use the add a fuse for now. I was hoping for a screw terminal somewhere but guess these cars dont have that. makes a clean install easy, thanks AUDI

I'd say that depends on the WB.
Some don't like low voltage (10V or so) and are better served with power that's off while cranking.
I had problems with my LC1, loosing settings etc, before choosing a run only (like the lighter).

Good to know. I had an old firmware version that would "Schiavo-out) when I hot started the car and it would sit at 15.0:1 until I power cycled without using the starter (coast and pop the clutch).

it doesnt even matter where I put mine. when i crank i go below 10v, and the lc-1 craps out at around 11.3v or so.
