Did a short track 1:04.1 best time. But could have been low 1:03's if it wasn't for the slow traffic. Won my class, second outright, and broke the club record by 4 seconds.
The car is not ideal for this track, it's more set up for Phillip Island with its high speed and fast corners. So had a lot of oversteer, and can only use 3rd and 4th gear around the whole track.
Some cars did 15-20 seconds slower lap times, so you pass the same cars every 3-4 laps.

Turned up to Phillip island on Sunday for a state round of a SuperSprint championship. The weather was very cold, but sunny. The car was going well, and setting a new p.b on the first lap. I agjusted the AOA of the wing all the way from 0 to 12. Top speed dropped by 3mph, but lap times improved. The day ended with my splitter mounts failing due to the bolt heads being ground away. I won my class by over 6 seconds and was as quick as the big dollar V8 cars.

This is a lap from group 2. I moved to group 1 after.

Video from the weekend. Only improved slightly. The weather wasn't as good, had some light rain at times, and mostly cloudy.

This car has been stripped of all its bits, and sold near standard. I am building the other MX5 into a 2B race car now. I can't find the build thread for the other car, might have been deleted?
