It's like oil is puddling up somewhere on the track, and then burns up when sitting or something.

My next steps are to try and reproduce the fuel starve and oil burning on the street. So I have a baseline to work from. I don't want to have to go to the track to test out changed.

Just did this on an AP2 today, just to add fuel to the fire:

If this is true and has been true, and it's smoking, there are only a few things it could be. Valve stem seals, rings, turbo oil seal. I can't think of anything else short of a strange head gasket failure or something really uncommon.

Have you ever inspected your valves to see if they are wet with oil from leaking valve stem seals?

I put new stem seals in less than a week ago. Have not gotten around to checking if they are leaking.

This is what happens when you are too lazy to unpack but still want your car in the garage.

I snuck into your garage and did a little oil burning recon. I think I found your problem.

Very possible. But if I can run below spec Miata times with a piston looking like that I would be a god.

The last few weeks on here has given me an identity crisis. I don't even know who I am anymore...

I assumed the boost was turned down in the video.

Hmmm. Last I looked I wasn't sure my camera could charge and have an external mic at the same time. Need to see if some sort of Y is acceptable. Or if I can ghettofab something.
