Update:
NC is getting ready for HPDE and Autox.
Sparco QRT-R from scratch and dent with Racequip 6-point:
CSF radiator bought on super dooper sale along with Moroso overflow:
Hardtop painted:
New spring rates, shocks, and wheels and tires:
Next up:
Working on fabricating the GTX manifold: A good friend is doing the welding and we are doing the mockup and design together. He is a much better welder than I. We got all the tubes within 1/4" in length.

Super stoked to see an update here, thanks! The GTX is a little lighter than I thought, which is awesome!
Any interest in selling the old turbo manifold? Is it stock location? And what's wrong with it?
Good choice on the NC. I track my turbo miata with my buddies 09 NC, and the NC is super capable even under stock power. Enjoy!

Here’s why you don’t want it:

I had my first Autox since I ran a PGT Legacy on Acropolis Spec Pirelli Gravel tires at a Blue Ridge Region autox in 2003, and first serious since 99. I had an amazing time, and it was really glorious to not worry about other cars or people.
Ran on ECS, as I thought it would be more wet than it was. It was blustery and damp, and I struggled with grip. Of course, I suck as a driver, but it was fun.
And the wife did her first event ever.... and is hooked.

It seems close until you model it and see how far it's not close haha. I had to add goofy 2.6" longer straights on runners 1 & 4 to Lars' manifold to make the centerline lengths the same on all.

That's a perfect setup. I recently picked up a vf10 hybrid turbo for mine, so I'm staying stock manifold for now. Gotta get a clutch in it before I can make any more power though..
