Strange. He shouldn't be running out of injector. Is the fuel pump pressure set up correctly in TS?

just compared my ve and spark maps to the shops maps.
looks like they just literally highlighted the top 2 rows and added 2* , then highlighted everything in the ve table past 5k and removed 10 lol

so yeah no attempt at mbt was made. but that means this car can still pick up some power

I'm curious; has anyone actually made 300whp with FF injectors? (I'm not at all criticizing them, just wondering)

Not directly. But Incorrect fuel pump pressure setting can give false readings on injector duty.

Nah that's not it.

And even ignoring the maxed injectors, he should be making more with the boost and timing.

It's either choking somewhere, or leaking somewhere would be my guess.

I don't know what old FW did, or other than MS3, but a quick look at modern code(1.4 up), as well as comments from the developers, will show that Aidian is correct. Duty Cycle is now calculated properly from the actual PW duration (total, dead time included) and RPM. 100% means that the voltage to the injector is constantly on. There ain't no more.

Well, I trapped 110 on Flow Force, but with high octane gas.

What were the boost levels?
My friend choked his FF with 18 psi @6000 rpm.
A DW200 fuel pump cured this, but seeing as OP also has a higher pressure fuel pump, something's strange going on.

I don't remember but in the 18-20psi range. I have been able to run 19psi to 7000rpm with an oh really stock replacement pump in my NB.

Time for COPs? 20psi with stock ignition and running super rich like that you gotta be having spark blow out.

FM says the stock coils are good for 15-16 psi. You might want to look into ignition.

Yep that's been my experience as well. Spark blow out feels like spark retard and probably isn't healthy for the engine. Not getting full fuel burn either so I would expect you may make more power with less duty cycle. I thought it was common knowledge that you needed COPs to make more than 250hp on a Miata?

I'm curious about this. I was hitting a wall at 270rwhp and am installing a LS coils to see if that helps me get around it. I'm sure 18psi would know.
